Anne leads The Vine Cares with a heart for transitional housing, health equity, and mentoring. She is also a U.S. Army veteran and faculty member at Miles College.

Benita Newton is a senior auditor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services with over 15 years of experience in compliance and regulatory oversight. A CPA and CFE, Benita brings deep financial insight and a passion for community service through organizations like the Junior League and the Exceptional Foundation.

Community Engagement Lead

Sharon Newson is a healthcare and nonprofit professional with over 30 years of experience in customer service, advocacy, and ministry. Sharon currently works at United Healthcare and is deeply engaged in community transformation, spiritual leadership, and strategic nonprofit initiatives.

Technology & Communications Lead

Nigeria Sheppard is a marketing and systems consultant who helps nonprofits and small businesses build clear, effective infrastructure to grow and serve well. With a background in marketing and nonprofit tech, she streamlines workflows and strengthens outreach. Rooted in faith, Nigeria is driven by a passion for supporting families and empowering mission-driven work that creates lasting impact.

Legal & Public Relations Lead

Jamiel J. Peterson is an attorney, military veteran, and entrepreneur with extensive legal experience at both the state and federal levels. Jamiel provides guidance on compliance, media strategy, and legal protection. He’s also a co-owner of a coffee franchise and serves in the Air National Guard.
